Obama, Manning, and Wiki-Leaks

Posted by Troy on 17th January 2017 in Current Events, Political

And now the Left has no room to talk about Russia hacking the election.

Since November, all I’ve heard is Russia hacking the election.  Russia hacking the election and giving it to Wiki-leaks.

Now, today, Obama commutes the sentence for Manning from 35 years down to 7.  What did Manning do?  Well, the most favorable position you could take is that he was guilty of espionage.  At worst, he was guilty of treason.

So, back in the day, there was a sizable portion of the Left that called for leniency for Manning.  After Bradley decided to become Chelsea, that increased.

But…then the hacking of 2016 happened!  Hillary lost!!!!!  Wiki-leaks baaaaaad.

Let’s compare the two:

Bradley Manning stole military documents and gave it to a foreign entity to be distributed to anyone with an internet connection–including our enemies.  Personally, I believe that he was a weak-willed person (as further proven by his sex-change operation) that was taken advantage of by Julian Assange, particular after Snowden’s fame as a whistle blower.  Even if the military did something wrong, Manning needed to take that to the press, not a foreign entity.  Of course, no one trusts the media anymore, but back then, that may have been acceptable.  These leaks gave away classified information and put agents at risk.  This, further, put American interests at risk.

Russia hacked the DNC.  What did they find out?  Hillary is out of touch.  Well…we knew that.  She disdains Joe Six-pack.  Well…we knew that.  She’s entitled.  Her team thinks low of Americans.  She sells influence.  At every turn, we knew or suspected everything that “was leaked.”  And they were all TRUE.  They could not deny it.

Manning’s betrayal revealed state secrets to our enemies.  The DNC hacks merely confirmed what many suspected.

So…what’s Obama’s logic?  Hacking personal emails is tantamount to undermining our very democracy, but giving away state secrets is no big deal?  He has lost any credibility on the leaks.

Rigged Election – The Bias Media

Posted by Troy on 17th October 2016 in Current Events, Political

Trump is under fire for saying that election is rigged.  Isn’t it?  Let’s examine the evidence.

1 – During the primary, the establishment loaded up the ticket hoping to split the votes enough where Bush’s money could carry the day.  It failed.

2 – As Trump continued to persist, they were sure that the strategy would work, so they forced him to sign an agreement that he would not run third party.  When he won, those that signed promptly went back on their word.

3 – Hillary and the DNC rigged the election against Bernie.

4 – The media has withheld this tape of Trump until a few weeks before the election in an attempt to destroy him late when they could have destroyed him prior to getting the nomination.

5 – Just look at the difference in coverage between the tape of Trump talking crass vs Hillary’s Wiki-leaks drops.

You see, I’ve heard several men I know (some of them highly respected in society) that have said worse than what Trump said.  And if you are being honest, you know you’ve heard worse from dear friends of yours…man or woman.  If someone followed you around with a camera for years, they could put together a clip show that makes you look pretty bad.  However, no matter what Trump said…hell, even if he DID exactly what he said in the video, it would pale in the comparison of what Bill and Hillary did to women which was rape and destruction.  And where was the media then?  Did they get onto the most powerful man in the world for cheating on his wife and taking advantage of a young intern?  No, they called the intern a fat, ugly, slut.  Pretty much.  Bill’s so coooool.  Monica’s a total skank.  But the Clinton’s are heroes to the Left, and they will be protected.

Meanwhile, in Wiki-Leaks land… Bill Clinton gets a million dollar birthday check from Qatar.  The Clinton Foundations throws away any consideration of the ethics of taking money from foreign donors.  Her staff calls Catholics backwards.  They make fun of “rednecks.”  They pop off at the mouth at this group and that group.  They muse how it would be better if they San Bernardino shooters were white guys killing Muslims.  She calls Bernie supporters a bucket of losers.  She tells Wall Street that she trusts Wall Street to fix Wall Street.  She says that it’s important to lie to the public and do what you want.  She says that there’s no way to vet Syrian refuges while telling us straight to our faces that they can be vetted.  An aide if video taped saying that Hillary plans on enacting gun control via executive order.  Another aide is caught on camera breaking election laws.  The State Department offers the FBI rewards for changing the classification ratings of Hillary’s emails.

But by all means, let’s talk about Trump 24/7.  You know how much time Wiki-Leak reports have gotten between all the major broadcasters?  57 seconds.

Yeah…it’s rigged.  I hope Trump wins.  I hope he wins just so I can see the looks on the faces of Hillary, Hollywood, and the Media.

Bernie Sanders vs Ted Cruz

Posted by Troy on 26th July 2016 in Current Events, Political

Bernie Sanders betrayed his supporters and “philosophies” by supporting Hillary Clinton.  Hillary Clinton is the antitheses of what Bernie professed.  No one exemplifies Wall Street and trade deals like Hillary.  Not to mention the crooked deals, the email scandal, and the rigged primary.  Of course, many people would say that I’m just playing favorites.  They might ask why I came down on Cruz for not endorsing Trump but I am coming down on Bernie for supporting Hillary.  So here’s the difference:

Trump won.

Trump won straight up.  If anything, he was able to win despite the deck being stacked against him, Hollywood being against him, commentators being against him, and Republican leadership against him.  Cruz lost fair and square.  If anything, the aforementioned items gave Cruz a leg up, but he still lost.  Cruz also agreed to support the winner.  I will agree that Trump’s personal attacks may have made it so that Cruz could not support Trump.  However, the honorable thing to do in that case is to just not show up, which is de facto not supporting Trump but would at least give the appearance of not going back on his word.

Bernie lost in a rigged system.  You have the DNC colluding with news media to assist Hillary Clinton.  You have Debbie scheduling debates at times when no one with a life would be home to watch it.  At every turn, Bernie was maligned.  Even when he was still in the running, the DNC was pushing him out.  In all cases, the DNC sought to control the direction of the election and choose their candidate.  He also never agreed to support Hillary.

What people don’t realize is that Bernie is not the leader of Bernie supporters.  Bernie has given them a choice: reject Bernie or become hypocrites.  I think that Bernie supporters realize that.  Bernie has sold his voting block.  We don’t know what the price is, but Bernie supporters aren’t stupid.

I don’t know if Bernie supporters will support Trump, but I think at least some cannot possibly support Hillary.  Doing so makes them hypocrites.  I also would be sickened by the DNC’s treatment of them, invoking Bernie’s name like they were invoking Jesus’s name.  “Bernie says,” and they are but puppets on the string.

That’s the difference.

Snowden Vs Hasan and Bradley Manning

Posted by Troy on 12th June 2013 in Current Events, Political

Snowden told us that the US government is spying on us.  The result?  He was instantly fired from his job.  He is now being investigated for espionage, and some are throwing around the term, “treason.”  Hasan kills 13 soldiers and Fort Hood and wounded 32 others.  The result?  There was an instant call not to rush to judgement.  He is still collecting his salary ($278,000 so far).  It was also called workplace violence instead of Islamic Terrorism.

It really lets you know where your government’s priorities lie, does it not?  They are much more concerned about you finding out that they have been logging every phone call you’ve made than they are about a Muslim terrorist who killed US soldiers.

Now, that brings us to how Snowden is different than Manning.  I’m not completely sold that Snowden is not a traitor, actually.  On the surface, I wanted to say that he is not a traitor.  What he did different than Bradley is that he released a single bit of information to deal with something that the government was doing in secret against their own citizens.  Manning did a massive download of documents, not to fight one particular program but (presumably) because he though America was a force of evil in this world that needed to be stopped.  The documents he downloaded immediately put Americans at risk and aided our enemies.  As such, Manning is guilty of treason.  I had excused Snowden, but now Snowden is living in China and has announced that we have been doing cyber warfare on China for years (well duh, who thought we weren’t?).  This strikes me that China has paid him off, and he released both of these facts to cause our leaders political problems and to weaken our moral high ground with China.  If so, he is still guilty of treason, but I’ll thank him for the heads up even as he is hanged.

Bradley Manning – Guilty of Treason

Posted by Troy on 3rd June 2013 in Current Events

I’m a Libertarian.  However, what Bradley Manning did is not some wild-eyed bout of freedom fighting.  I am sure that he probably released information that shows some stuff that we are doing wrong.  Granted, but he didn’t find that one case where the military was testing AIDS on people without their knowledge and exposed it.  No, he did a massive information dump of a block of information which could endanger operative’s lives not to mention aid our enemies or put other Americans (even the American homeland) at risk.  This isn’t to be lauded.  He’s not a freedom fighter.  He is not some masked hero of justice.  He is a traitor.  He needs to be tried, convicted as such, and hanged from the neck until dead.
