Cut off your penis, and you’re a hero. Bleach your skin, and you’re messed up.

As I predicted…

Bruce Jenner decides to “become a woman,” and he is praised as being brave.  His sanity is not brought into question despite making the decision to mutilate his body in the vain attempt to be something that he cannot be.  Let’s be frank, you can wear dresses (etc) without doing these surgeries.  This is not about style or anything else.

Currently, Lil Kim is under-fire for bleaching her skin and giving herself long, blonde hair.  Absolutely true: she looks white.  If you showed me a picture of her without telling me who it was, I would think I was looking at a white girl or maybe a girl with some mixed heritage and very fair skin.  Comments regarding her transformation run the lines of how sad it is she didn’t realize how beautiful her old skin was, etc.  I’m sure there are also posts saying that she’s rejected her heritage or has forgotten who she really is etc etc etc.  At all points, society is blamed for convincing her to try to be something she is not, or she is condemned for trying to be white.

I posted a while back: we are only justifying transgenderism because it deals with sex.  In every other case, if someone were to mutilate themselves trying to be something they’re not, you would try to stop them.  This is clearly a case of being in love with their own tolerance, not out of any true care or “acceptance” to the person as is.  If you love and accept Bruce Jenner, you would try to talk him out of this foolishness and tell him he is perfect as he is made.  Instead, you egg him on, as you are more in love with your own “tolerance” than his true well being.  Meanwhile, Lil Kim is condemned because her decision deals with race.  Same thing, different result.  Why?  Because you wanna look “coooool.”

Long Live the Constitution!

Ain’t got no soul!

I generally have little respect for anyone who gets offended.  Being offended usually just comes across as whiny.  What do you care what anyone says about you?  However, I must say, the expression “He’s got no soul,” and its derivatives are possibly the most offensive thing I could think of.  Of course, when someone says someone doesn’t have soul, what they are really saying is that that person is White.  What could be more insulting than claiming someone doesn’t have a soul?  It is tantamount to saying someone isn’t even human.  Saying someone doesn’t have a soul is saying that they are not of God.  Yes, I cannot think of any other phrase which could be more offensive than that.  However…it’s still whiny to be offended by it.
