Kimberly Guilfoyle Tells Young Women Not to Vote

Posted by Troy on 23rd October 2014 in Current Events, Entertainment, Political

Kimberly Guilfoyle has come under fire for, supposedly, telling young women to go back to their Tinder and not vote.  I, of course, will come to her defense.  Not because I secretly want to be her boyfriend or anything, but out a sense of fairness.  While I do not always agree with what she says, I would admit that most of my responses to her would go something like, “Duh dah duh… hi-yuck… gorsh.”  (For those Philistines out there, that is a Goofy meeting a beautiful woman reference)

Sadly, the current generation has been dumbed down so much that they do not get sarcasm or any sort of cleverness.  You see, Kimberly wasn’t saying that young women should not vote.  She is really saying that they are willfully uninformed.  While this is rampant in all sectors of our society, it would appear that young women, in particular, are glued to their cell phones.  These devices, while useful, have become such a distraction that focus is not being given to issues that actually matter.

There is a lie out there that “Everybody should vote.”  Hell no.  Not everyone should vote.  That is the worst thing ever.  Everyone has a RIGHT to vote.  That, I agree.  However, if you honestly have no idea what is going on, I do not want you voting.  This is not to say that I don’t want you voting because I disagree with you.  Let’s take a couple of scenarios.

1 – I am against the NSA spying on Americans.  Joe didn’t know it was happening.  I tell him we are voting about it.  He informs me he will vote for it.  I ask him why.  He responds, “I trust my government.  If they think it’s a good idea, I believe them.”  I do NOT want this man voting.  He has put no thought into anything.

2 – Same as before, but Sally is for it.  I ask her why.  She starts spouting nonsense about terrorism and how many terror attacks were prevented and that it’s important that we give up some rights for the greater good.  I truly believe that Sally is dumb as bricks.  However, she has thought about it.  She has come up with her reasons.  I might try to change her mind by debating her, but I’m okay with her voting.

That is all that Kimberly was saying.  She wasn’t really telling young women NOT TO VOTE.  She was telling young women to EDUCATE THEMSELVES WITH IMPORTANT ISSUES.  Of course, the Left realllllly doesn’t want ANYBODY educating themselves about the issues, so they are trying to demonize her instead.

Immigration Issue

Posted by Troy on 11th November 2012 in Political

After this last election, it is apparent that neither side will have any stomach to tackle the immigration issue.  We never really had this type of problem before.  Rogue crossings from Europe were difficult to pull off at best.  Now we have a subset of the population willing to hold the law hostage with their vote.  I actually wouldn’t be against open boarders…except for the free stuff.  However, we’re never going to get rid of the free stuff, so here is what we are going to do, and it’s really the only reasonable thing left to do:

Anyone that is here must register with bio-metrics to be eligible for this program.  Anyone under this program cannot attain full citizenship.  This person must pay a fee of $25,000.  This is much more than anyone else who immigrates here legally.  Every year, they are required to file a tax return.  Using e-verify, employers will be required to withhold a high percentage of their income.  This will generate a refund due on their return.  These refunds will eventually eat away at fee.

There is a reason why we don’t just open the floodgates to the rest of the world.  The real reason is that people are supposed to come here and assimilate, but  people are no longer doing it.  They are coming here and then they are secluding themselves.  They are refraining from learning our language (English).  They proudly display their old flag.  As such, they never learn what it means to be American.  They never learn the Constitution.  They don’t learn the history.  That has got to change… however, the Democrats would like things just the way they are.  Obama and Clinton and the other driving forces of the Democratic party believe in global governance.  They believe in the UN.  They believe in LOST.  They believe in multinational organizations.  They believe in a global currency.  They believe in a global carbon tax.  The list goes on and one.  Read the writing on the wall.

Who should give charity?

Posted by Troy on 9th September 2012 in Human Nature

Catholics tend to support Democrats.  A Catholic asked me why this is.  The reason the church usually gives is that the Democratic party supports giving to the poor.  They overlook the whole abortion, gay marriage, and increased acceptance of divorce, but okay.  But here’s a question: Why do they support the Democrats for “giving to the poor?”  You see, the thing is that the only way the government can give to the poor is through coercion.  When the poor vote to take money from the rich to have it redistributed to the poor, they are not engaging in charity.  They are  engaging in theft.  Is it really any different than if men took a vote and ordered women to have sex with them?  People aren’t supposed to pay taxes as their form of “charity.”  They are supposed to give money to people, churches, and other charities.  I don’t think Jesus will say, “Good man!  You filed your 1040 and didn’t even claim some of your legitimate itemized deductions so that the government will have more money to support the poor!  Good going!  Welcome to Heaven!”  There are also some bad side effects to the government taking over charity.  Those receiving aid have no moral obligation to the giver of the aid.  When friends and neighbors help someone, the donee feels, typically, the need to live up to the help by trying to get to a point where they don’t need help.  No one has that feeling to the government.  Also, if the church is helping someone, that person has a greater chance to converting to that religion and maybe making positive changes to their lives.  Again, this does not happen with help from the government.  The government is also very inefficient with the money.  There is a lack of policing of the funds.  If you give your friend $100 and then catch him getting lap dances down at the strip club, you’re probably not going to give him any more money, are ya?  The government will.  Finally, the government taking over the role of charity provider degrades the moral fiber of society.  People start to think that the government will take care of people, and they will stop giving to charity themselves.  There is a reason why America far outpaces the rest of the world in charitable giving.  It is also a key reason why Republicans tend to give much more to charities than Democrats (statistically true).

Ohio to repeal public worker union bargaining bill

Posted by Troy on 8th November 2011 in Current Events

What the?!

Read through the basic principles of this bill.  As a taxpayer, how can you be against this?  Basically, it bases pay on merit, not seniority.  It limits some of the juicy benefits that public employees have been negotiating for themselves in some states.  Need I point out that currently employees in the public sector are currently making twice what private sector counterparts make?  Forcing non-union workers to pay into a system they don’t approve of is downright un-American, especially when they know their dues are going toward buying off politicians of an ideology they oppose.

Finally, unions are supposed to protect against bad employers.  Are we saying our governments are bad employers?  If so, should do a better job at elections.  Also, the state and federal government are supposed to provide essential services such as police, primary education, and firefighters.  How can any of these be allowed to go on strike?

If the law is overturned, I will view it as a sign of the incredible strength of these extremely Leftist organizations and the general dumbing down of the American citizen.  We can’t allow ourselves to become too stupid to vote like they are in Greece.
