San Bernardino Shooting

Posted by Troy on 2nd December 2015 in Current Events

Well, it took the Democratic candidates about ten seconds to blame the San Bernardino shootings on the NRA and lax gun laws.  Of course…I mean, this was San Bernardino.  Not Georgia or Texas or Montana or something…but whatever, sure…it’s gun laws.

So we all had to sit there and watch for hours while the media and people tried not to say the obvious…that this is Islamic terrorism.  Of course it’s terrorism.  You have an attack very similar to what happened in Paris with no motivation other than the slaughter of defenseless people.  But we can’t say it’s Muslim Terrorists…that would be stereotyping.  Let’s be honest…in an act of terror against random, defenseless people…bet Muslim.  It’s a safe bet.

I am looking forward to Obama’s speech.  I think it will go something like this:

“Now, let’s not rush to judgement.  We should not demean an entire religion for the acts of a few people.  Islam is a religion of peace, and anyone that kills innocent people is not a true Muslim.  That being said, let’s demean all guns because they were the tool of choice for some false-Muslims to kill innocent people.  The only way for us to be safe is to ban all guns and get the Syrian refugees over IMMEDIATELY!”

Can Someone Tell Me Why Accepting Syrian Refugees is So Important?!!!

Posted by Troy on 18th November 2015 in Current Events, Political

No, really.  Tell me.  Why is it so friggin’ important?  Is there a reason?  How will accepting refugees improve American in any way, shape, or form?

Of course, Obama ridiculed the GOP as being afraid of three-year-old orphans.  You can tell that even HE doesn’t believe this crap.  Yeah…we’re all afraid of the three-year-old orphans.  I’m sure that 100% of the refugees are widows and small children.  Wait…they’re not?  Wait…there are grown men?  Men from the ages of 13 to 64 that might be willing to die for their religion.

So, why is there a burning NEED to take these refugees?  Hell, at this point, the only thing that makes any logical sense is he wants there to be a terrorist attack so that he can declare martial law and stay in power.  Of course, that would be the last thing he did because either the military would dispose him or America (particularly the South) would rebel.  Someone would kill him at that point.  So I’m not overly concerned by this.

But seriously, someone explain the logic of taking 10,000 people into our population where as many as 25% confess at least being sympathetic to a known terrorist organization.  Of course, the dangerous ones are just going to lie.  And it’s not just the men.  Two women were suicide bombers in Paris.  At the very least, they could at least locate the refugees to only states and cities that explicitly agree to accept them.  But that’s not the Obama way.  His way is to force his will on others.  Why?  Because he is a Fascist.  Tell me how he isn’t…

Rand Paul’s Epic Takedown of John Kerry

Posted by Troy on 3rd September 2013 in Current Events, Political

Thank you, Rand Paul.  You seem to be the only person in the government that actually cares about the Constitution.  Here’s a question for all of you peeps that say that the President can send our forces where ever, whenever.  If Canada fired some missiles into New York City, do you think we would buy it if they said, “Oh!  We didn’t declare war on you.  Our Prime Minister can just has the ability to do whatever he wants.”  Or do you think we would have the same caviler attitude if Obama was talking about shooting off some missiles into China for their numerous human rights abuse?  We are supposed to be outraged by the use of chemical weapons, but what is the difference between that and the human rights abuses of China?  The starving of citizens in North Korea?  All of the warlords and massacres throughout Africa and the Middle East?  Why do we seem to be so willing to get involved in this particular conflict and not any of the others?  1,400 people have died from chemical warfare.  Where was Obama’s outrage while 100,000 were slaughtered while he was busy pushing gun control and all his other pet projects?  The answer is that the only reason he cares about this is that he had to open his mouth and lay down this “red line.”  Now HIS reputation is on the line.  He doesn’t care about America’s reputation.  In truth, we should not view our reputation as in line with Obama’s reputation.  Just because you screw up and elect an imbecile for President does not mean you have to back every moronic stance he has.  Why are we determined to have innocent Americans and Syrians killed at our hands to save Obama’s reputation?  The Constitution gives Congress the power to declare war.  Presidents as far back as Kennedy have made the case that, as leader of the military, they can do whatever they want.  The fact of the matter is that an act of war is defacto declaring war.  Don’t believe me?  Have Obama throw a tomahawk down in China and try to explain the subtle differences to the Chinese.  It is clear from anyone that’s read the Federalist Papers, as Rand Paul obviously has, that Congress is supposed to declare war first before our forces are moved into foreign countries.  There is no upside at this point.  We can look like we chickened out or we can risk material and lives in war.  Obama can say that this is some sort of limited engagement, but will he still say the same thing if Russia sinks one of our war ships?  This situation is perilous and could drag us deeper into a bigger war.  And for what?  To help install Al Qaeda related forces to power?  Is that our big win then?  The other option is that the engagement is going to be so limited that it won’t accomplish anything at all.  If so, why do it?  If you’re not willing to actually fight a war, don’t fight it.  If you’re not willing to put boots on the ground and actually win the war, don’t fight it.  It’s that simple.

Syria Uses Chemical Weapons

Posted by Troy on 25th April 2013 in Current Events

Who could have predicted this?  Ummmmm, the Swamp Fox Press?  Yep.  As I predicted, Assad had to choose between giving up power or rolling the dice and seeing if America would actually do anything if he used chemical weapons.  Thank you Hillary Clinton!  And Obama, of course.  Now, we get to look like punks.

1)  The smartest thing we could have done was just let Syria do it’s own thing and see what happens, but we ran our big mouth, so this is out now.

2)  The next smartest thing we could do is NOTHING.  If we get involved, it will be another money hole that we don’t have.  Let the Middle East sort itself out.  The downside is now we look like pussies because we said we’d do something and we won’t.

Basically, after all this, it just gets worse and worse.

We can commit our troops.  If we do, Americans die, and we will be blamed for collateral damage.  Worst thing about it is they will hold it against us that we came in at the end to steal all the glory.

We can give them guns and ammo and training.  If we do, then these things will wind up in the hands of terrorists.

Seriously, to hell with it.  Let them fight it out and let the chips all where they may.
