Russia Interferring with Our Elections

Trapper and Obama keep saying Russia has interfered with our elections.  I find it very telling that he doesn’t point out that Mexico and the UN also interfered with our elections.  Let’s examine their claim.

1 – Let’s assume that Russia did hack our election.  First of all, there is evidence that the Russians tried to hack both the Democrats and the Republicans.  The Republicans were smart and didn’t fall for it, and the Democrats were dumb as shit and did.  That’s pretty telling right there.

2 – All of the hacks were basically true statements of what Hillary and the DNC think of Americans.

3 – Nothing was said about Mexico, the UN, and other countries that wanted Hillary to win and Trump to lose.

4 – Nothing is said about us interfering with Russia’s election or Israel’s election.

5 – Nothing is mentioned of the news media and Hollywood interfering with our elections, and they did so with false statements regarding Trump and misconstruing what he said.

So… if you tell the truth about how a candidate really feels about you… that’s interfering.  If you lie… that’s okay.

Again, it all comes down to what side you are on.  No Liberal had any trouble with all the leaks, unfounded allegations, and leaks.  If someone had Trump’s tax return, they would have been heralded as heroes.

Lame.  Just sooooooo lame.  #sorelosers!

Obama and Putin… “It’s…complicated.”

So Obama hit Russia with some non-effective, but insulting, sanctions.  In particular, closing a couple of Russian facilities and expelling 35 Russian diplomats is really a slap in the face, diplomatically.  Let’s review…

Obama comes into office thinking that he could improve relations with Russia.  He tells the Russians they can build more nukes while we will not and removes the plans for expanding missile defense in eastern Europe, leaving our allies saying… “What the hell, America?”  He sends Hillary over there with her “Reset” button.  What does that get us?

Russia invades the Crimea.  Russia props up Assad.  Russia conspires with China to undermine the dollar as the world currency.  Russia buzzes our military ships and airplanes, flirting with our airspace.

Does Obama have any real issues so far?  Nope.  Not with the espionage, or anything else.

In 2015, he discovers that Russia is trying to influence our elections.  He sternly tells Vlady:  “Hey…Knock it off.”

Woooo…Vlad was scared!  Big, tough Obama said… “Knock it off.”  OMG… if Vlad disobeys there will be… well, there will be pretty much no consequences because Obama is the weakest, most feckless leader we’ve had in a long while.  Obama said he didn’t want to do anything because he was sure Clinton was going to win anyway…but she didn’t.

Little backstory, Hillary supported the Vlad protesters back when he was running for President–trying to influence THEIR election.  So, this could very well be payback.  Or not.  The RNC had hack attacks too, the same as Podesta…they just weren’t stupid enough to fall for it.  So Russia could have simply wanted to embarrass anyone they could.  Assuming that they are behind it at all, which I’m iffy on, honestly.

But Obama was willing to let it go…as long as Hillary won, because he didn’t want to appear partisan.  I hate to say this, but there’s no way that this man could NOT seem partisan.  At every turn, he has demonized Republicans.  When he won, he basically told them that he won the election and could do whatever he damn well pleased and refused to work with Republicans, preferring to try to demonize and shame them in the media instead.  When he couldn’t get his way, he just started signing executive orders.  His behavior is pretty much the cause of the Democrats losing the Senate, which cost Obama the chance to appoint a 5th, Liberal judge to the Supreme Court.  Now, Trump comes in with majorities in the House and Senate.  Trump will get to appoint the next Justice.  All of those sweet little executive orders are a pen swipe away from oblivion.  Obama is the architect of his own demise.  He has managed to reduce his own reign to a footnote:  “*Obama – the first President of African descent.”  That’s all he will be now.  And he did it to himself with his own arrogance.

So he’s doing what any spoiled child would do when he doesn’t get his way.  He is throwing a temper-tantrum.  He is chastising Israel.  He is destroying records of Muslim refugees which were being monitored.  And he’s hitting up Russia.  Why?  To make sure that Trump has as much going wrong as possible.  Obama will not have anyone outshine him.  He will NOT have Trump come in and just win win win.  Obama said he would take it as a personal insult if people didn’t vote in Hillary…and he meant it.

But the real thing is he is setting a trap for Trump.  If Trump reverses this decision, the media and Obama will say that it’s proof that Trump is a Russian pawn.  If Trump doesn’t, Russian relations will continue to deteriorate, leading to possible war or other strife.

I always knew that Obama’s ego knew no bounds, and the last few months are living proof.  He is willing to subject millions of people to war, death, and hardships just because his pride is hurt.

I look forward to Trump flipping the script and making himself look good and Obama look like the immature amateur he always was.

A Comprehensive Analysis of the Electoral College Overturning the Election

It is amazing how so many Democrats have started espousing the wisdom of the Constitution after spending my entire life explaining to me what an outdated document it is!  So the basic premise is that the Republican electors should choose someone other than Donald Trump due to Hamilton’s writings in Federalist Paper #68 in which he said that the Electoral College is meant to safeguard against a demagogue taking power.  Naturally, Democrats view Donald Trump as an unqualified demagogue while Barak Obama was the smartest man to ever take office.  But that’s neither here nor there.

First, let’s look at History.  When was the Constitution written?  It was after the Articles of Confederation failed.  What was a major issue of this failure?  All states got the same vote (one vote a piece).  As such, Virginia (the richest, most populous state) had the same say as Georgia (the smallest state, population-wise).  This really annoyed the Virginians.  Regardless, the Articles of Confederation failed, and the Electoral College (along with the bicameral nature of the legislature) was a way to strike a balance between state sovereignty and population.  Now, originally, any number of people could run for President (they still can, in theory, but not in reality).  The top two became President and Vice President, accordingly.  This was changed with the Twelfth Amendment after the President and Vice-President of different parties were chosen, causing much chaos.  But the original intent was this:  In a race between six candidates, it was possible a demagogue could troll the bottom 20% of the population and win, whereas the other, qualified candidates only got 16% each.

Now, with the two party system, this is no longer the case.  You would have to argue that 46% of the population is stupid and deserve to have their vote overturned.  Now, this truly is the Left’s belief.  They really do look down at those living in rural areas.  Ergo, the will of that huge red swath between New York and California mean little to them.  As Marx said, the city folk need to save the country folk from their own stupidity (look it up if you don’t believe me).  And this is what Hollywood believes.  Oh, those poor, backwards, red-neck, inbreeds.  They don’t know how stupid they are.  They need a benevolent dictator to do what’s in their best self-interest.  They’re too dumb to know what’s good for them.  [Google C.S. Lewis and Robber Barons for a GREAT quote of the tyranny that's for our own good...it never ends.]

So, what if the Left got its way?

Well, if the election was given to Hillary: Civil War.  No joke.  That’s what we’re talking about.  At least a couple of million dead.

If the Democrats all voted for a Establishment Republican and enough Republicans joined forces to elect a Jeb Bush (etc): The death of the Republican Party.  It should also kill the Democrat party, but it won’t.  They’ll forgive them because “They saved us from Trump.”

But even if Civil War was averted, it will be the end of American elections.  Why bother voting?  The Electoral College will choose who is president regardless of our wishes.  It is the appearance of a representative democracy, only.  It is a farce.  They will allow your vote as long as it pleases the powers that be.  Once that genie is released, it will never be put back in the bottle.

Even if you believe that Russia wanted Trump to win…seriously…do you think Putin didn’t want Barack to win?  The wide-eyed idealist with zero experience and the spine reminiscent of an earthworm over a war-hardened veteran like McCain or a savvy business tycoon that understood the threat Russia posed?  Ha!  Putin ran circles around Barak, and Putin loved that Barack won both times.  Hillary posed little problem for Putin, so I doubt he worried too much about her gaining power anyway.  But even if you think Russia views Trump as the better option…which is the best option for us: Four years of Trump as President or civil war?  Because that’s your choice, peeps.  Choose wisely.

The Russians are Coming!!!!!

If you went back and told Second Grade me that I would feel the media was too rough on the Russians when I was 38, I’d think you’re crazy…but here we are.

The White House admits that there is no link between the Russian government and the e-mail hacks.  But that’s not good enough for Democrats, whose belief system seems to be “Whatever it takes to get rid of Trump or de-legitimize him.”

1 – Hamilton did speak about the Electoral College being used to prevent a disqualified person from taking office.  I disagree with this interpretation (even though it appears in the Federalist Papers, which I love).  Hamilton was a bit imperial.  There is talk of two political beliefs in America:  The Jeffersons who believe in the People and their collective wisdom and the Hamiltons who believe that the People need to be ruled and protected from themselves.  I think this Federalist Paper was Hamilton being Hamilton.  The Electoral College was actually created as a mechanism by which the smaller states would agree to join the union.  While it still gives sway to the larger states, it ensures that the smaller states will still have a say in the affairs of the country.  I fail to see any situation where by the Electoral College overturning an election would not end in civil war.  Even if the people vote wrong, it is far better to just put up with their error for four years rather than have a small body overturn their decision.  That and to overturn this election would take nearly 40 electors turning.  That would just be incredible, and a clear repudiation of the will of the people.

2 – Did ya notice how none of the Democrats seemed to care when Mexico tried to influence our elections?  Do you remember that?  What about the UN?  What about other foreign countries that weighed in on our election?  When all these countries and outside parties were talking trash about Trump?  Well, that was all honky dory when it was benefiting Hillary.  Every country, friend or foe, tries to influence our elections.  Likewise, we try to influence their elections.  This administration tried to get Netanyahu ousted in his election  We tried to defeat an ally in favor of a group that actually hates America.  And no one said anything.  Oh well, right?  Remember when we overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran?  Good times!

3 – What did the hacks tell us?  That the DNC plotted to screw Bernie over?  We already knew that.  That Hillary has zero energy?  We already knew that.  That she sold influence?  We already knew that.  That she has utter disdain for the average American?  We already knew that.  So tell me…how did these hacks influence the election?  By confirming what we already suspected of Hillary?

4 – It is troubling that maybe Russia preferred Trump.  Of course, it could be that Russia wanted to weaken Hillary’s presidency (assuming she would win as everyone else did).  Maybe it was personal.  Maybe Putin feared reprisals for making Hillary look like a dithering old fool with her “Reset” button.  Maybe Putin just hates Hillary.  Maybe the Russian government has nothing to do with it?  Hackers are kind of Chaotic Neutral.  Who knows what their motivation is.  However, I will judge Trump’s presidency by his actions.  If he sells America out in favor for Russia, that’s called Treason.  He will be impeached and probably hanged, and he will deserve it.  I doubt all of this.

5 – I don’t believe 1% of Trump supporters would change their votes based on Russia being behind the DNC hacks.  As such, he still would have won.

Democrats need to get their adult pants on and learn how to deal.  California and New York need to get over themselves.  They are populous.  They are big.  But they do not reflect the values and beliefs of this nation.  Roughly 3,000 of 3,200 counties voted for Trump.  If Democrats really though about it, this should convince them in having a small Federal government.  As one person put it: “I can’t feel sorry for people who want an all-powerful government and can’t conceive that one day someone they don’t like might be in power.”

All Hail the Queen

If you’re a red-blooded American, you should be pissed off.  The only interpretation of today’s events is this: There are two set of rules.  Those for the rulers, and those for the peasants.

Break any law.  Pick one and break it.  When they arrest you, tell them “It wasn’t my intent to break the law.”  See how that works out for you.

In handling state secrets, the Secretary of State has a strict liability.  In fact, the statute says that gross negligence is the standard.  Then the FBI director says that what she did was extremely careless.  That’s almost the definition of gross negligence.  In fact, everything he listed as a key point for prosecution could be found in this case.  Of course she intended to break the statute.  She did so by setting up the server.  Of course she tried to hide stuff.  She did so when she deleted half of her emails and continued to stone wall any investigation.  The only thing I can’t really prove is that she didn’t do it hoping to hurt America.  I would like to think that’s the case, but she’s pretty damaging all by herself, so that’s anyone’s guess.

I will say that this is probably a gift to Trump.  It’s like he’s been saying since day one: the system is rigged.  He can point to this as proof, and it’s pretty much irrefutable by any rational human being.  Party liners will say, “Well, the FBI cleared her.”  Yeah, and a grand jury cleared OJ Simpson.  But we all know they are guilty.

I hope like hell we do not elect her.  She’s going to be the single most corrupt President in history, and I’m not sure this country survives four years of her.

Brexit!

I would like to congratulate our British friends for standing up to the propaganda and fear mongering and taking their country back.  I would like to point out that Obama’s speech to them in April warmed them that globalization hurts at first.  They are admitting what they are doing!

1 – We are different cultures and nations.  I want Brits to be Brits, Germans to be Germans, and Americans to be Americans.  I want our cultures to be what they are.  I don’t want them to disappear.  I like national identity.  Deep down, we all do.  If you’re in the south, you would hate for a bunch of Yankees to move into your neighborhood and start changing stuff up and vice versa.

2 – This will not affect the ability to defend against terrorism.  It might make BRITAIN more secure since they don’t have free-roaming immigrants and enforced refugees (etc) now.  If the EU is REALLY worried that Britain won’t have access to their security database…then give them access.  You can charge them a fee, make a treaty, whatever.

3 – The economic realities facing Britain are the same.  They have the same workforce, resources, supplies, and demands.  All this gloom and doom was meant to scare them back into line.  In a few weeks, things will return to pretty much the same as normal.  Britain is a good market, countries are going to want to trade with them.

4 – The EU was not a military compact.  That’s NATO, and that stays in place, and all parties have an interest in keeping it in place.  Also, the real reason we haven’t been seeing wars isn’t the EU.  It is because war has become too expensive among advanced societies.

I am very proud of Britain and it gives me hope that maybe we can turn back the tide of globalization.

Russia to ban imports of foodstuff

That’s their big ace in the hole then?  Oh, don’t get me wrong.  I’m from Georgia.  I know that cuts on imports will hurt our economy (in the short term).  But here is how this plays out:

In the short-term, the Russians have less food and have to pay more for it.  Americans have more food and have to pay less for it.

Since there is now a food shortage in Russia, other producers of food will start to ship more food there to make higher profits.

Shipping food to Russia means they are not shipping food to other places.  These other places will need food.  Guess where they are going to go?  America.  Why?  Because they have a surplus and the food will be cheaper.

Way to go Russia in proving, yet again, that you’re still basically a third rate power in this world.  If that is your big, economic ace, you suck.  The only product you have of any worth is oil.  You have nothing to fall back on.  This is the case of a bluffer playing a game.  It’s just that all the world powers are too chickenshit to call him on it, so he will probably win.  Oh well.  Sorry Ukraine.

Russia, the Ukraine, and Why I’m Unconcerned

Let’s assume, for the moment, that the vote in the Crimea was legitimate.  I believe the results probably are.  The Crimea has never wanted to be a part of the Ukraine.  They also speak Russian instead of Ukrainian (and language is a unifying factor, one of the reasons I’ve always suspected liberals have been forcing bilingualism on this country–its a divisive factor and assures that the immigrates from Mexico and Cuba never ever assume our culture and love of the Constitution).

If the vote is legitimate, you cannot be against it if you love liberty and our revolution as we were founded on this principle: “When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another…”  I do question the wisdom of choosing to live under a totalitarian heel, but to each his own.

But let’s assuming that Russia is rebuilding their empire.  So what?  Russia is still unfree.  As such, they will lack what freedom brings: creativity.  As such, they will always fail.  Even if they grow right back to the 1980s, so what?  No conflict will ever happen between Russia and the United States for the same reason since the beginning: nuclear weapons.  As long as both sides have these, war is too costly, and it will be avoided at all costs.  No war between Russian and the United States could be conducted quickly and cheaply.  As such, it will not happen.  There’s no future in it.  We have no desire to take Russia (as who the hell would want that place?) and they have no ability to take the United States (imagine them going into any city with an armed populace?  City fighting with a gun out of every window?  Impossible.  Snipers picking them off from the trees and running.  Impossible.  Crossing an entire ocean with satellites knowing their every move?  Impossible).  Even if they regain their own stature, they are still just an inert force.  A bellowing wind of nothingness.  A raging tempest in a jar.

So what should we do?  Well, we should have demanded that they allow the Crimea to vote with all troops withdrawn and agreed to honor the results of said election.  That probably would have fixed everything.  If we must do something at this point: embargo of all goods to and from Russia.  Freeze all assets of all Russian nationals and companies.  Develop our energy resources in full and try to talk our allies in Europe from buying energy from us instead of Russia.  Kick them out of the G-8.  Order all US banks and companies to refuse to accept the Russian currency.  Basically…give them the silent treatment like a bunch of high school girls.

War is not the answer.  We have royally screwed up because we got the Ukraine to depend on us, and we have let them down.  I fail to see the logic of declaring war on a major power to force a minor region to live under the rule of another less-minor power against their will.

Rand Paul’s Epic Takedown of John Kerry

Thank you, Rand Paul.  You seem to be the only person in the government that actually cares about the Constitution.  Here’s a question for all of you peeps that say that the President can send our forces where ever, whenever.  If Canada fired some missiles into New York City, do you think we would buy it if they said, “Oh!  We didn’t declare war on you.  Our Prime Minister can just has the ability to do whatever he wants.”  Or do you think we would have the same caviler attitude if Obama was talking about shooting off some missiles into China for their numerous human rights abuse?  We are supposed to be outraged by the use of chemical weapons, but what is the difference between that and the human rights abuses of China?  The starving of citizens in North Korea?  All of the warlords and massacres throughout Africa and the Middle East?  Why do we seem to be so willing to get involved in this particular conflict and not any of the others?  1,400 people have died from chemical warfare.  Where was Obama’s outrage while 100,000 were slaughtered while he was busy pushing gun control and all his other pet projects?  The answer is that the only reason he cares about this is that he had to open his mouth and lay down this “red line.”  Now HIS reputation is on the line.  He doesn’t care about America’s reputation.  In truth, we should not view our reputation as in line with Obama’s reputation.  Just because you screw up and elect an imbecile for President does not mean you have to back every moronic stance he has.  Why are we determined to have innocent Americans and Syrians killed at our hands to save Obama’s reputation?  The Constitution gives Congress the power to declare war.  Presidents as far back as Kennedy have made the case that, as leader of the military, they can do whatever they want.  The fact of the matter is that an act of war is defacto declaring war.  Don’t believe me?  Have Obama throw a tomahawk down in China and try to explain the subtle differences to the Chinese.  It is clear from anyone that’s read the Federalist Papers, as Rand Paul obviously has, that Congress is supposed to declare war first before our forces are moved into foreign countries.  There is no upside at this point.  We can look like we chickened out or we can risk material and lives in war.  Obama can say that this is some sort of limited engagement, but will he still say the same thing if Russia sinks one of our war ships?  This situation is perilous and could drag us deeper into a bigger war.  And for what?  To help install Al Qaeda related forces to power?  Is that our big win then?  The other option is that the engagement is going to be so limited that it won’t accomplish anything at all.  If so, why do it?  If you’re not willing to actually fight a war, don’t fight it.  If you’re not willing to put boots on the ground and actually win the war, don’t fight it.  It’s that simple.

Russian Newspaper calls Obama a Communist

A Russian newsletter calls Obama a communist and all his supporters the same useful idiots that supported Stalin.  Sounds exactly what I predicted in 2084.  As I pointed out in 2084, the current Democratic platform is very much in line with the Communist Manifesto and the goals of communist everywhere.  Look them up in the Citizen’s Handbook for a good rundown.

I believe that we are headed toward global socialism/communism, and that is Obama’s goal.  Here’s a shining point.  We currently have an obesity problem.  This is NEVER a problem under communism.  Under communism we will all be underweight as they starve us to death as our leaders get fat.
