Westboro Baptists and other low-lifes

Posted by Troy on 17th December 2012 in Current Events, Political

First of all, the Westboro Baptist church members need their asses kicked as they are protesting the funerals of the dead children at Sandy Hook.  Several people in the past cautioned at becoming “overly civilized.”  I think we’ve reached that point.  There is no way in hell that people in the 1950s would have put up with this crap.  Freedom of speech is one thing, but this goes far too far.  Your speech has consequences.  No one in their right mind would go to Harlem and start yelling the N-word.  Why?  Because they would be beaten or killed.  Do they have the freedom of speech?  Yes, but we all know that there are levels of provocation.  If you are seeking to provoke someone, you reap what you sow.  This is not to demean the freedom of speech but merely to state the unspoken obvious: what you say has an effect on others and may elicit a response.  Freedom of speech is against the government, not against other citizens.  The government cannot discriminate against you just because you are critical of the government.  If you are critical of someone, they will probably discriminate against you in retaliation.

I also want to chastise the media.  They tell us that we should help the victims of Sandy Hook.  How?  There is no property damage.  Not all the money in the world could replace what was taken, nor would any parent have traded their child for all the money in the world even if there were left alive.  No, there is nothing that can be done except to stop talking about it.  Allow them to grieve and move on with their lives.  However, they will not let them do that.  The media loves plastering the pictures of the victims and the killer all over television because it’s great for ratings.  It’s so sensational.  Politicians are loving turning this tragic event into gun control propaganda.  I wonder if when they first heard about the shootings if their first thoughts weren’t about the poor children or the motives for such a senseless crime.  Instead, they probably thought about how great their ratings were going to be or how they could get their precious legislation passed.

I don’t believe that people are going to call for gun control any more than those who already do.  People have made up their minds on that issue.  I believe that most people understand that this was an isolated actions of a madman.  I should never wish to give away our freedoms at each such offense.  Millions the world round have suffered due to the Communist Manifesto.  Obviously, we should not have freedom of speech as what we write or say may cause the deaths of millions of innocent women and children.  See how this works?

Why I hate reporters

Posted by Troy on 19th September 2012 in Current Events, Political

A free press is necessary for a free people.  The only way we can keep our politicians honest is by being informed about what they are doing.  However, our current media is a lap dog of the Left (as I show in 2084: the Search for Love Hope and Faith).  Here are some examples:

1) The Middle East is burning.  Instead of asking Obama what he is going to do about it, they hound Romney (who has no power whatsoever) about his opinion on the matter.

2) They report on Romney’s secret tapes, even though it was obvious that they were clipped to be misleading.  When the full tape shows that Romney was actually just saying that he wasn’t going to try to get the dependent class’s vote (as I predicted), there was no retraction.

3)  You know if the stuff going on in the Middle East was happening on Bush’s watch, you would see 24/7 coverage of burning embassies.

4)  When gas hit $3 a gallon under Bush, it was wall to wall coverage.  Under Obama, gas doubled to $4 a gallon, and not a word is said.

5)  We continually hear about Romney’s tax returns but not about Obama’s school records.

6)  A massive government coverup involving an international event (Fast and the Furious) barely gets mentioned.  Again, do you think the same would have happened under Bush?

7)  After all the criticism over the Patriot Act, the Democrats elected to renew it.  How much air time did that get?  Pretty much none, after 6 years of raving about it when Bush was around.

8)  Where are the tapes of Obama telling the Russians he’ll have more flexibility when he doesn’t have to care what we think?

9)  Where are the tapes showing that Obama knows that doing away with the capital gains rate will hurt the economy and bring less money to the government but he wants to do it out of “fairness?”

10)  Where is the report about the planned insurgency training for 2016?

11)  Where are the reports concerning all the UN treaties which will devour our rights?

12)  Why does the media seem all but silent on the fact that our debt is out of control, we are printing money out of thin air, unemployment is pretty much stagnant, and Congress has been unable to pass a budget due to Democrats (House Republicans have passed budgets, and the Senate won’t hear them).

13)  Why are Republicans blamed for stalemates when the Senate Democrats will not even bring bills to the floor for discussion or votes?

14)  Every act of violence is put to the Tea Party.  When it turns out it’s wrong, it’s barely mentioned.

15)  The Tea Party is branded a racist group even though there is a lack of evidence for that and a lot of their heroes are minorities (Allen West, Herman Cain, Mia Love, Rubio etc).

16)  Occupy Wall Street was a great movement despite all the evidence of rapes, drugs, theft, vandalism, communism, anarchism, bomb making, etc etc etc.

17)  When Bush was in power, we heard every single death in Afghanistan multiple times a day.  So much more footage, etc.  Suddenly, these deaths aren’t as big a deal.

18)  Gitmo was a huge deal under Bush.  Now?  Not so much.

I could go on and on and on.   The bottom line is that the news media makes me sick.  It’s all indoctrination.  It is clear that they are in bed for Obama and even brought the lube.  I just hope we don’t get screwed too.

Intimidation

Posted by Troy on 14th December 2011 in Current Events, Political

I just realized something.

Imagine that there was a group of people in town, just three or four.  They get an idea in their head that they know will be unpopular.  However, they single people out, confront them, and bombard them with their message until it’s accepted.  One at at time, they convert people to their point of view.

This is that the media is.  While we are in our own homes, safe in front of our TVs, we are alone.  We do not have the safety net of friends and family and community who will step in and say, “I’m with you.  This guy is full of it.”  Since we are alone, we assume that the messages being delivered to us via television are the viewpoints of the whole country.  Over time, our viewpoints become compromised or become that which is being told to us.

The media has become this gang of bullies.  It was a way for the Left to brainwash the entire community over just a few short decades.
