Obama Wiretapped Trump

Posted by Troy on 20th March 2017 in Current Events, Political

They continue to hammer Trump over his claim that Obama wiretapped him.

First, I believe Trump really does believe Obama wiretapped him.  I am guessing that he is basing this on all the leaks (etc).  The FBI and others have come out and said that there is no proof of this.

However, there are other options.

1 – Obama and his ilk could have gone outside of all government agencies.  Do you really think that the CIA (etc) are the only ones capable of hacking and stuff?  Just ask Hillary and the DNC!  Anyone can do it!  Yes, there are mercenaries that you can hire.  Private eyes, etc.  This is possible.

2 – Does one really think official orders need to be given to make things happen?  Could it be that Obama just said, “Wow…I really think someone should really look into Trump…” within earshot of certain people?  Like you haven’t done similar?

3 – Do you really trust the CIA not to defend itself?  Could it be that they do not like Trump’s positions?  Could it be that they are protecting themselves by sabotaging Trump?  When the CIA said “Yes…we can listen to you through your smart-TV…but we would never do it to American citizens!” did you think “Yeah, right…”?  If so… why do you have much trust in them at all as an organization?

Honestly…none of this really matters.  What matters is the economy.  If in four years we have 5% growth, Trump will be re-elected, and it wouldn’t matter if you caught him on camera with a transexual Russian hooker.  If the economy roars under Trump, he wins.  If it fizzles, he’s probably gone.  All this other stuff is irrelevant.

When the CIA becomes the KGB – The Michael Flynn Saga

Posted by Troy on 15th February 2017 in Entertainment, Political

I hate to break it to CNN and the Democrats, but I have a feeling that most people are not all that concerned about Michael Flynn’s phone call.  It seems common sense and natural that an in-coming administration would talk to diplomats to establish relationships and start forging ahead.  The people really upset about this are the same people that chose to look the other way at the Fast and Furious, IRS scandal, Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation, and countless other gross violations.

Release the transcript.

That’s how you know that whatever said was pretty tame.  In this “Anti-Trump” environment, if it was actually something noteworthy, it would have been plastered all over the front page.

In regards to Michael Flynn, I will wait to pass any judgement until I see the transcript.  I assume that this is politicians playing politics.  Until I see some sort of proof that he actually said anything of note, I will not get excited.

However, what makes me afraid is this:

People are claiming that un-elected government workers should thwart foes foreign and domestic. Well, I agree.  It’s every citizen’s duty to defend the Constitution, but Trump had done nothing of the sort.  To date, he has done more to recognize the Constitution than any President I have seen in my adult life.  I remember Obama constantly assaulting the Constitution.  Bear in mind, he had more 0 to 9 decisions (including two Justices that HE appointed!) than any other President in history.

Transference/Projection:

Trump and his supporters are fascists that will be rioting in the street if he loses!  Well, it would seem that Hillary supporters are the ones that cannot accept the results of the election.  They are the ones that are rioting in the streets and hitting people and burning things.  Nothing says you are anti-fascist like beating the shit outta people that don’t share your beliefs.

Michael Flynn gave speeches to the Russians!  Yeah…and Bill gave speeches to them for millions of dollars in advance of 25% of the North American supply of uranium being sold to Russia.

The Left praised Bush for not getting involved in criticizing the next President.  Meanwhile, Obama sets up an organization and affiliates himself with groups funding the professional rioters.

The Left likes to portray Trump supporters as belligerent morons.  Yet, if they ever bring themselves to actually have a political discussion with me or any other Trump supporter, it quickly turns into the leftist just screaming.

The Left claims that Trump is delivering us into the hands of the Russians, and the Russians are trying to make us lose faith in our institutions.  Yeah, like California succeeding wouldn’t work against us.  No people can be conquered if they are united.  I have never seen us so fractured.  Instead of trying to come together at all, the Left is driving their base into a frenzy and sowing seeds of hatred among them.  What has Trump done to divide us anywhere on the scale of what I just mentioned?  In fact, considering the vile and extreme sentiments aimed at him constantly, his responses have been very mute and restrained.  To the regular people who spew bile at him, he has been completely silent.

Meanwhile, while all of this is going on, Trump’s administration is cracking down on Russia at the UN.  Mattis is getting NATO to actually fund more for their own defense.  Japan and Israel seem thrilled at our new President.  You can tell by their body language that when Trump says America stands behind their allies, they believe him–whereas Obama’s promises of support were mere bluff.  Just ask the Syrians what red-lines drawn by Obama meant.

What I fear is that the CIA really is the shadow-government that conspiracy theorists claim.  Do as they say, or they will destroy you.  This is dangerous.  If this is true, this means that no one is safe.  Also, there are protections in place to protect American citizens even if the CIA is tapping Russian diplomats (which they always are–just as we are always interfering in the elections of Russia, Israel, Canada, England…).  Given the time that these taps were happening, this means that Obama or one of his higher level minions spied on their political opponents.  You want to talk about Soviet Russia?

I don’t fear the Russians.  I have shot Russian ammunition.  After you do so, you will understand that Russia is no real threat.

If an operative shows up with plans for Trump to declare martial law, I will applaud them.  If someone assassinates a President that declares martial law, I will applaud them.  But what is happening here is that things are being leaked to undermine Trump’s Presidency.  They want him to look weak and stupid and hurt our international relations.  Why?  Because Trump is a danger to our country?  What seems to be a bigger danger to our country?  One man which is subject to the checks and balances that have kept us a free people for close to 250 years?  Or does it seem more likely that fomenting civil unrest, pitting countryman against countryman, undermining the trust of our allies, and emboldening our enemies?  Is having the world on fire worth making Trump look bad?  Bear in mind, you either want blood in the streets or Trump to lose in four years.  WOW!  Yey!  That’s all you will get if you are successful.  A weaker country.  That’s what you want.  Just for a better chance of beating one man at one election in four years.

To anyone that thinks I am being inconsistent, here is the difference between what is happening and Wiki-Leaks: Wiki-Leaks was a private group.  I also think they should be held accountable for their illegal acts.  That does not mean that I will not consider the information that is provided out of something that is obtained illegally.  Truth must be regarded, but those those broke the law must be held to account.  But this is a government agency working against its political opponents.  That is dangerous.  This is what makes totalitarian regimes.  If Flynn broke a law, he should face the punishment.  But I am MUCH more concerned about the government acting to suppress their political prisoners.

Petraeus Scandal

Posted by Troy on 12th November 2012 in Current Events, Political

It appears that his biographer had access to secret information.  If that’s the case, then that is most definitely inappropriate.  However, if he was merely having an affair, I really couldn’t care less.  It’s the circumstances, not the act that I find objectionable.  For instance, when it was Bill Clinton, it was the perjury that pissed me off.  The same thing here.  It is silly to think that politicians and powerful men will not cheat.  Biologically speaking, we are programed to gain riches and power to increase our chances of procreation.  If not for the secrets, this is a non-story.

CIA Underwear Bomber

Posted by Troy on 9th May 2012 in Current Events

A plot to blow up a plane was “uncovered” by a CIA agent undercover.  The agent was able to get the bomb and turn it over to our intelligence agency, and my question?  What do we need to know this?

“Someone” leaked that this went down.  Of course, this is “someone” who happened to have high level clearance.  I would assume that most CIA agents can keep their trap shut, so why do we know about this?

Leaking the information puts all of our agents overseas at risk.  Now Al qaeda knows that we had at least one agent in their midst.  Don’t you think that they (and other terrorist groups) will be looking harder for our guys?  Probably.  We probably won’t pull this kind of thing off again.  They know the trick, and they are going to be looking for it.  They’re going to pick their couriers much more carefully.  That increases the chances that a future attempt will actually work.  We were never in danger.  This was on foreign soil.  There was literally no reason for us to know.  So why do we know about this?

We know about this because Obama wants to be re-elected, and he believes that this will make him look good.  ”Look at me, I foiled a terror plot!”  Regardless of the fact that it puts us and our agents at greater risk, but hey, Obama’s gotta get credit so he can get re-elected, right?  This guy goes beyond self-centered.  This is pure narcissism.

Let me make one thing perfectly clear, I do not find fault with everything Obama does just because I don’t like him.  I don’t like him because I find fault with about 95% of what he does.  I think he has a total lack of judgement.
