What does that even mean?
Trump was elected as a part of a free election. They can try to say that Russia influenced the election, but let’s be clear, Russia influenced the election about as much as a man pissing in the ocean contributes to global warming. The people that voted for Trump despised Hillary Clinton. Sorry, but that is the truth. If Democrats had run Jim Webb, they probably would have won.
So if you accept the fact that Trump legitimately won the election, you have to also agree that refusing to normalize his presidency is way more fascist than Trump has been to date. Basically, what you are saying is that you refuse to accept the results of the election if the person you wanted lost. If you say, “Yeah, but I’m against everything that Trump stands for, and I don’t like what it says about our country.” Guess what…that’s the way we felt when Obama won and led us further down the road of Socialism. Boom. Grow up.
However, the Left’s leadership and media allies started this “don’t normalize” movement as a way to close people’s minds. I have no issue with the Left obstructing things they disagree with–like the wall or even the “Muslim Ban.” But when you move to obstruct 100% of the agenda and refuse to try to work with the administration, refuse to meet, refuse to talk, refuse even on topics you actually agree with, then you have become ideological. This may work with the hardcore left, but you are going to completely lose people in the middle. If everything is a crisis, then nothing is a crisis.
